Day 51.
For years, you're more hard on yourself than anyone else ever could be. The constant laundry lists of flaws and reasons. The constant empty-handed pursuit.
You put up a facade and bury your doubts and perceptions of other people's perceptions. You weight your self worth in these worthless perceptions.

Eventually, you break. Everyone breaks at one point or another. Different situations, sure. But along this journey, everyone breaks.
But isn't it funny, when you break, and decide to actually follow the "let go and let God" game plan, how freeing it is?
For the better part of seven months, I have been broken down, restored, built up and bettered as a Christian and as a man.
Fifty-one days ago, there was a young man, in his car, sitting at a red light, audibly praying to God to show a clear path. To take control of the situation and to point him in the right direction.
Day 51.
Of feeling a way he thought he was incapable.
Of viewing things in a completely different light.
Of taking those buried perceptions and never giving them any credit again.
Of caring more than that young man ever thought possible.
Day 51, of the rest of his life.
Thank you, for days one through fifty-one.
For shattering those perceptions.
For caring more than that young man ever thought anybody would.
Fifty-one down, forever to go.
